  1. I like the way Liz clearly explained her process and thinking. This will help me with future posts and explaining how a lesson was conceived and carried out, as well as working toward including student thinking. I can also see how the foundational work I am doing with beginning with observation, starting with art elements and building confidence and familiarity with art materials, tools and process will help the students to continue to be successful later on. Thank you for sharing this blog with us.

  2. Yay! So glad the blog is helpful. I am now trying to think about each lesson I teach through the lens of the studio habits. If I don't label it before hand, after the lesson is over I am trying to decide which habit it most likely falls under, and label it as such on my blog. This is helping me to see which habits I am actively teaching and how, and which ones I need to get in there soon that I maybe don't address as often (like reflect!).
